  2. This page is continually updated as new information is learned, so check back regularly.
  3. The page includes the important points for why we are opposing this request, along with four letter templates you may use in crafting your letters. Each template addresses a different reason for opposition. You may also make up your own letter based on your beliefs about the points of opposition.
  4. You may send more than one letter. What is important is the volume of letters.
  5. The deadline for sending letters for the zoning hearing is Monday, February 9 at 5 pm.
  6. Please send your letters to three people: Mayor Parker, Council Member Peoples, and the Zoning Commission. The email addresses are on the website listed above.
  7. We will need as many people as possible to attend the zoning hearing on Wednesday, 11 February at 1 pm at City Hall. Please wear or carry something red to show your opposition.
  8. It is perfectly fine to send letters by email. That has become a standard these days. No need to print out paper letters and send by USPS mail unless you just prefer to do that.
