It has been an active time in our neighborhood since the last general membership
meeting in March. Thanks to our volunteers, we have completed an exciting Easter
Egg Hunt, Adopt a Tree project, neighborhood garage sale, and named two winners
of our Yard of the Month award. In addition, we are in the process of beautifying the
entrance to Smith Wilemon Park in partnership with the CFW Park and Rec
Department. We will be formally thanking those volunteers at our meeting on May
13th
.
Please plan to attend on the 13th. We will be joined by our City Council
Representative Gyna Bivens, representatives of CFW Code Enforcement, our new
NPO and receive an update from the CFW Water Department regarding the project
to replace cast iron pipes in certain parts of our neighborhood. Their maps show the
streets and easements that will be affected, and you will want to know about these plans and take home one of the information packets that will be available.
Looking forward we have several projects scheduled and some are underway. Our
meetings are always highly informative and there is even news about the closed
Woodhaven Country Club, so I hope you will join us on May 13th at the Montessori
School Gymnasium. The program begins at 7pm.
Thanks to all of our volunteers that make White Lake Hills a great place to live.
